these few words are true even if nothing else I ever say is

I love how music always makes sense. even when it doesn’t make literal or logical sense, it makes emotional sense. there will always be a song that “gets” you. it doesn’t even matter if it was written to make you feel better after your cat died or to describe your first kiss or whatever- there’s a song out there that you’re going to find that will fit perfectly into how you felt in that moment. music is a powerful, powerful thing. it’s magic. I think that making music is one of the few true bits of magic that we humans can perform. we can take words and wood and metal and string and make someone feel something so deeply that they are never the same again. if that’s not magic, I don’t know what is.
